Thalapothichil

It is the traditional treatment of Kerala for psychosomatic disorders. It is an ideal treatment in cases of insomnia, hypertension, depression and anxiety.A herbal paste is freshly prepared and applied over the scalp, leaving a small central portion. A medicated oil is filled in this groove. The paste is then covered with leaves (plantain or lotus leaf) and cloth leaving the groove open. At the end of the procedure the paste is removed and a gentle head massage is given

Shirodhara

This is a unique and blissful therapy that calms and stabilises the mind. Shirodhara reduces anxiety, alleviates headaches and increases awareness. A gentle flow of warm oil is poured over the forehead( 6th chakra) and with the therapist gentle touch on the marma points of the head- you will feel totally relaxed and renewed.

Njavarikhizi

A special massage to make your body perspire by the external application of certain herbs or cooked rice in the shape of boluses tied in cotton or muslin bag, immersed in a mixture of warm milk and decoctions. It is a therapy that takes for about 60 to 90 minutes and involves two therapists. It strengthens nerves of the body, calms the mind, reduces stress and helps treat neurological disorders and arthritis.
